Well.. I went and I studied with Brett Manning...and as each student came in for their class all I could do was . Some made me ,even. man, woman, teenagers, the whole lot've'em!!!
It's one thing to hear the demonstrations on the CD's but another to hear the tones live. Because I had done so much vocal studies all along before I went to him, I understood very easily the points that he was making to and about his various students. He's extremely knowledgeable about the vocal instrument and in explaining the how's and the therefore's..
All sessions are recorded, and let me tell you this, if I didn't know that it was me hitting those high notes with the greatest of ease, I would not've believed it when I listened to the same tracks at a later date!!. No strain!!!
I sit and read and research and study to learn all that I can about the voice, it's a time consuming process indeed, but as a result I was able to clearly understad what he was talking about, as opposed to making frantics notes and then doing research
I have no shares in his business, I don't profit any.. believe me, this man know's his stuff!! I'll say this too, he's a very cool laid back fella who attributes all his talents as being "Blessed"
I'm glad I went..It was a good investment
(Why do American insist on driving on the wrong side of the road and have cars with the steering wheel on the left??.. Pure stress driving out there I tell ya!)
MEANWHILE IN NEW YORK
One of the voice teachers that I encountered, patted her belly when talking about the diaphragm? She said she "believed it's around here"
egads!
Madam lost a whole heap of 'cool points' for that
 DBV!

Hi, I'm Steve and I'm new to this forum!
I've just ordered Brett Manning's Singing Success package and I can't wait to get started. DBV, I really enjoyed reading about your first hand experience with him and I'm glad to hear that it went so well.
Does anyone know if there is some sort of a support forum for people using Brett's products?
Steve

This is great! I was hoping someone would start a thread and keep it going about this. I've been pondering over Brett Manning's disc set for months now! Thanks for all the insight, everyone.
