MOLLY SUMMER
Molly Summer has been coaching voice since 2001 and was a vocal judge and member of The National Association for Record Industry Professionals andThe Los Angeles Musicians Network. Summer began her career in Equity Musical Theatre at age thirteen in Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George at The Pageant of the Masters, earning a Dramalogue Award for Best Ensemble Cast. She studied at The Professional School of the Arts with Lisa Matsko-Hamilton and Karen Morrow under a full Vocal Scholarship, and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arton an Acting Scholarship. As a young teen, Summer was cast by Steve Allen in his musical adaptation to A Christmas Carol, starring Harold Gould. Some other credits include A Medicine for Melancholy (written and produced by Ray Bradbury), The Trial of Othello (produced by Sherwood Schwartz), and Lysistrata with the Foliage Theatre Project. She also worked with television and film producer, Lloyd Schwartz on his musical video series to be released later this year, reprising the role that won her an ADA Award Nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Known for her versatility of musical styles and three-octave range, Molly continues to work consistently in studio recordings for Pop, Gospel, and Country projects and is currently working with ASCAP composers Creative Horizons on a series of new musical recordings. She is a member of Actors Equity and the Screen Actors Guild, an active singer with The Academy for New Musical Theatre and is a member of the Hollywood Master Chorale. .
